A few years ago I would have said, "head wrong angle", but now I am a little more relaxed...... does it matter that much - really?

Love the eye on this bird. The prey is neat. Some kind of bug? Like the framing here. Detail looks very nice as well. Love the comment on the head angle.

Lovely shot. Great detail and complimentary colors all around.
Nice little touch of green too.
As for head angle, I'm OK with a slightly away HA where the bird is concentrating on something.
In this case a slight turn towards the camera would have lifted the shot.

Hi John ... nice one !!!
This HA thingy is many times overrated for me ... as long as the HA is not completely off , but this just only my view .
Like this one on most counts ... not sure about the greenery in ULC .... but it was there , so no big deal .
Like the detail , colours and that great eye !!

My first reaction was .... without looking at the kit ... well very nice IQ and overall nicely processed , and after reading the intro , i thought well well . Still think the output is way better .... with the old stuff IMHO .

I think the difference at low ISO is perfectly acceptable, high ISO I agree no comparison. But so much more convenient so compact so light so much more likely to take it with me, so much more fun, Hi Res ,Neutral density, Focus stacking, Pro Capture, almost 1:1 macro with zoom and telephoto lenses.. The camera is for fun, I felt previously it was becoming a little too serious. Sounds corny but it is liberating!

Hi Jon, it seems the other day you were in SA. I live in SA and dont have one of these noisy characters in my files. I like the feather detail, sharp and you have captured a good eye level perspective. The food item adds interest. A good open BG for Kruger. :w3
