You did a great job getting such a clean shot through the foliage, without much overlap. Like the color matching of the yellow flowers and the birds beak. Fairly steep shooting angle, but the framing with the bird lower in the frame helps reduce that effect. Well exposed.

Nice Image. I think we can raise the exposure of the frame protecting the whites or Dodge selectively on the greens and background colors.

The gap in the tree helped this one. Like the view of those long legs. Detail on this one looks quite nice.

Yes........... but I lowered them deliberately so they did not compete with the crane.

Super fun subject! Technically the subject is well exposed and shows some very nice detail on the raised wings, but the shooting angle combines with the
lack of direct eye contact (and no catchlight) to render the shot short on engagement. I agree with the decision to knock-down the exposure on the bush
to make the bird stand out.

I agree on the shortcomings, but they did not play ball with me - not once in 3 days!
