I agree with Dan's critique. I also wish the bird was facing slightly towards us, and I can see a magenta cast to the image (especially noticeable on the perch). Nice details, BG, and great view of the feet. Well done, David.

a slight head turn towards us would be ideal, the bird looks a bit soft to my eye and shows a magenta cast too
