Image captured by the Chambal River in India, this was one of a pair of eagles who had been previously bathing in the river.

Looks pretty impressive Jon, might loose that last bit of vegetation on the LHS and go a bit more pano, ie loose some more off the top.

Love the view of the face/eye. Agree with extrication of left OOF vegetation. TFS

Looks quite nice. Great view of that eye. I like the vegetation here. Gives some nice balance and color.

Hi Jon, as Steve wrote "Looks pretty impressive". I also think I would lose the most left vegetation. Thank you for sharing.

I am OK with the vegetation, nice soft light.... but it is the near wing position that spoils this one for me, the IQ isn't that great looks a tad soft perhaps another round of sharpening might work although it will make it more grainy

Looks good to me Jonathan. I'm also ok with the vegetation...there's symmetry with the three below the bird...so it does add balance to the image. Maybe a little more sharpening to the head area, but I'm ok as is. Sometimes I feel that it is easy to over sharpen in post. I actually really like the near wing...something different there.
