We had a very brief snow storm about a week ago. This was shot at my backyard feeders.

D500, 500PF, ISO 500, 1/2500s @ f/6.3 manual.

Perfect amount of snow, gives that winter feeling without obscuring much detail. Nice look back pose, with good DOF. Well scaled perch, with texture and the little hump in the middle. Soft light. Like the comp as well.

This is a really beautiful frame, Bill! As a northeasterner transplanted to San Francisco, I miss snow and the opportunity to create frames like this! Composition and proportioning are great, and have have just the right amount of falling snow. Frame
has a very dreamy quality. Eye contact and feather detail are both excellent.
