This a young skimmer frame taken shortly after sun went down, hope you like it.

D5 600E FL + TC14-E III ISO 5000 f/5.6 at 1/3200 sec hand held processed with C1P

Great light, wing position and tack sharp.
Only thing I would do (if mine) would be to clone out that dark dot in the water on left (the top one of the group of 4). That one pulls my eye.

Amazing birds. Nicely done with the light and pose. Love that trail of water running up the back of the beak and out.

Perfect timing on the shot, nice warm light, I do think you lost some detail at iso5000, but most would love to have this.

Hey Dan there is no loss of detail from ISO 5000 with the D5 but there was no light here to bring the details out, with skimmers you need sunlight to get the iridescent details . ISO 5K on D5 is more like ISO 1600 on D500 for comparison
