I shot this image at a local beach during sunrise. I exposed for the bird, but I think the image worked better as a silhouette, so I dropped the exposure by 2 stops in PP and increased the temperature. I cloned out one distracting wave, but otherwise, a fairly straightforward edit- just light NR and sharpening.

Camera - Nikon D850
Focal Length - 500mm
Aperture - f/5.6
Shutter Speed - 1/1600s
ISO - 800
Handheld
Manual, Auto ISO
~50% of Full-frame

As always, all comments & CC are appreciated :bg3:

Nice silhouette and great colors. I like the bits coming through on the bird. The bit of extra sun reflection on the left works for me. Waves are great. This is a really minor thing, but I would have gone a bit higher on SS as the bit of motion blur on the wings draw my eyes but that is very very picky of me! Something a little different and I like it, TFS

I think these have to be absolutely tack sharp to work for me..
This is a bit soft, nice colors and nice effort.

Classic silhouette with some nice color coming through. Framing is right on.
