I love the super inquisitive stare and curious approach, but the squashed crop does not work for me. The bird is too tight above and below and there is too much vacant space at right. Frame might have a slight green cast, but don't do anything
abut it unless you hear from others; I'm notoriously bad with color casts!

Very nice pose but agree on the crop. OK for a publication where some text is to appear in the negative space.
I don't see a green cast on the bird. Lifted foot adds to the image.

Repost crop is much better...I would lower the exposure a tad. Excellent subjects...

I much prefer the RP in terms of framing, the raised foot is a nice bonus, and I like the stretched out neck. I agree with Dorian regarding the cast, just for comparison, here's a neutral version, with the eyedropper tool used on the bill. The colours are your call obviously, probably somewhere between the pair as the neutral shot here lacks some of the warmth of the original

Hi Kevin, I guess this is in the same series as previous and so the issues will still remain? It certainly requires more at the foot, but again, in camera framing.

Did you see my previous comments and RP from yesterday, as this will apply to this too, apart from the Camera points. Avoid adding Blacks, Contrast, Levels or at least keep it to a minimum if any, and try to master Curves, your images will be far better, retain greater detail and less hefty looking in terms of Contrast POV, but overall more 'natural'.

Like the pose and that raised foot. The reposts are a improvement over the original. Also like the prairie dog mound.
