Nice view of this female. Love the hair do. Little tight on the left. Nice and sharp.

I like this Dan great capture love the hood and water droplets. See some noise and may be a little large in the frame.Wish I had one TFS

Love that wacky hair-do! Agreed that the bird's a bit too large in the frame, but not uncomfortably so imo. Sharpness is excellent and so is the exposure. No real nits from me, well done!

Excellent sharpness and feather detail! The wet bit and droplets are very nice. I agree the bird is a bit tight in the frame, but I'm a huge fan of the details as presented. Low angle is so money. A great result in crappy conditions.

I would have gone for Fill Flash in such conditions. Low Angle is really nice. Agree bird is too tight in the frame.

Thanks for the comments. Krishna, I am curious why would you use flash fill?
Although Gloomy, I think it appears fine. I am laying and the ducks are floating sometimes
within feet of me. I would never use flash that close.
Well maybe if I wanted a flight shot because Hoodies would gone in a flash,

Looking at the image I wish for some light on the bird. In general on cloudy days,I always go for flash. If the birds are really close then in Nikon I start with -3 on flash and -3 on Camera

All looks good to me, Dan, lovely girl merganser. The raised crest is wonderful, good details and colors. Thank you for sharing.
