Juvenile skimmer banking in last light, the juvie plumage is a bit different compared to the adult in particular the white edges of the feather which will become entirely black

Hope you like this frame, one of the last frames of the last decade!

Nikon D5 and 600 f/4E FL + TC14-E III ISO 3200 f/5.6 at 1/3200 sec hand held processed with C1P

Happy New Year to you as well!
Lovely light and topside view.
Nice and sharp.
Did you apply NR to the bird?
The whites on the edge of the wings look a bit grey- easy fix to whiten them up,
Gail

Another strong flight frame! Reflection in eye suggests you got this guy right at sunset. I need to get back down to Foster City as I've been away a lot recently.

Nice pose, light, and details. I missed out on a lot of shorebird photography this summer so jealous of this frame. I see a faint vertical cloning line right between the s and h on your signature as well as maybe some cloning artifacts in the bottom right -- easy fixes for a killer frame. TFS
