Hi John a nice solid portrait of this species .
Colors are looking better to me in this frame , if you like you can push the tones a bit more for a bit oomph . Framing is working well and i do like ears being both forward , if you like you can crop a bit from the bottom to avoid the darker fur and have a " cleaner " image.

For my taste the techs are borderline to create a sharp image , i feel the fine detail is a little bit gone .

Hi John, the pose and BG are great. The SS could have been higher but guess you were limited to 6.3 on the sigma. You could have gone with 6400 ISO instead?

Hi John, not a great image, yes the techs haven't helped and the broken antler is not ideal. I feel the image also requires a CCW rotation, more sharpening (albeit the RP has suffered) and there is a bluish cast. Engage the Electronic spirit level in the viewfinder it will help.
