Light a bit bright but I really like the fan like BG effect of the grasses. IQ on bird is very good.
I would consider a version with the black area cloned out as I find it pulls my eye away. But if you are feeling as I am these days,_which is no cloning, I understand!

Nice profile pose indeed. Beautiful details. I love the BG, except for that black spot. You could use methods other than cloning to gt rid of it:t3

Nice view and pose of this sparrow. Light looks a little harsh but you handled it well.

Thank you all. Here's a version without the black areas. Yes, John, by the time we finished with cranes and snow geese and wandered around the Visitors' Center, it was mid-day and the light was a bit harsh.
