Another frame from the four Walrus we found hauled up on a very small peice of pack ice. Shot from a zodiac, this almost alert Walrus was propped up/resting on the rear end of another walrus.

Thanks to those who posted or viewed on the last posting.

Exposure: 1/2000s at f/16 ISO3200
Original format: Portrait, FF on width, slight crop from the top
Processed via: LRCC Classic & PSCC2020

Steve this is another superb image, I think the processing is outstanding.
My only query might be that the water line does not appear to be horizontal, otherwise a masterpiece!

Many thanks Jon for the extremely kind comments. In relation to the 'horizontal' aspect, visually yes it could rotate, as the ice has been etched away in parts by the water creating an undulating line and so appears not not to be level, but in the view finder spirt level it was. Probably a quick revisit to tweak the file would be in order, but this is why its so important to retain a master 'layered' file. :S3:

Nice framing of the walrus. Like how the tail is resting on him. The frame has nice detail throughout. Depth of field looks great.

Hi Steve, an incredible image with tons of detail, good composition and great colours. Love the interaction and that red eye. The techs are great with that DOF!!

Joe, you are already doing very well, however it's just about honing your skill set and not throwing in the kitchen sink into the Workflow mix, less is more. :bg3:
