You get bored with doing the same old images, so it's worth risking something different.

D850, 300mm f/2.8, 1/50th at F/14, ISO 64

Very nice but why so far forward in the frame? Exposure perfect. I wish only that the bird were angled slightly more toward us.

Where?

Was the eagle fed?

I think I chose the wrong one to post, I will post one that's "too tight in the frame" next time. I like fast things going out the frame adds to the feeling of motion, but not a winner which
is good as it means I have to go and try again.

Thanks, Tim. You missed these:

When I see a bird flying oiut of the frame, I do not think that of speed. I think that the photographer panned too slowly :)

The sense of movement is nice. Like the water off the fish and the fish itself.

It's a Norwegian eagle, Flatanger, one of Ole Martin Dahle's friends (the eagle man), fed.

Love this capture, Tim. Wonderful feel of motion, and I also like the water falling off the fish.
