Bobolink

Going through some summer birds, this was a boblink in a field in northern Minnesota.

1/2000, f5.6, ISO 640, 800mm, 7DII.

Great bird and BKGR. Bird looks a bit over-done (over-sharpened or over-lightened the head ??). Needs more room above, less below.

Great bird indeed, and with a perfect look-back pose. Nice thin perch, and good green BG. Yes to Artie's composition suggestion. I also find that there is a lot of noise for that ISO: is this a large crop, and/or did you need to lift the blacks on the bird?
