Spent a few days away, and we were greeted at our door each morning by white Geese, Moorhens and this Muscovy duck. It looked as though the white feathers on its wing were damaged, but it was able to flap its wings with no problem. There are two varieties...white and black. This is the first time I've seen a black one.

I agree it is tight in the frame, and I would have gone for a lower angle (lying flat in the grass. Good job on the details and the exposure. With their neat textured leathery faces did you go in closer to get tight head and shoulder portraits as well?

Hi Daniel. I agree with getting lower. Here's another, but I guess I could have got even lower. It's a fairly large crop so iq may not be the best. Cheers.

Unique looking duck. Like the pose. The detail on the bird looks great. Exposure is right on.
