From Cape May a few weeks ago. Cloned out an oof roofline beyond the trees.

D500, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600mm, AutoISO @ 280, 1/2500s @ f/6/3.

Great colours, like the eye contact, like the angle of light that has brought out the feather detail, great shot.

love the wing position, this one isn't quite sharp not sure if it was the slow ss or the mega zoom lens ....pose is dynamic though

Very nice light and I really like the flight pose. The BG 'fits' well. I would try sharpening the bird a wee bit.

Thanks guys. Here's a repost that should be just a tad sharper. It has been said by some that this lens loses a bit of sharpness at full 600mm zoom, and I have noticed that to be true at least sometimes. I tell myself to back off of full zoom just a tad, but in the heat of battle I often forget. In this case, I don't believe I sharpened the OP quite as much as I might have in PP.

Repost is better, but you did not have really sharp focus on this one...
