Great view of this tern and the prey is a big plus. Love the green in the background as well.

Very interesting tern! The prey is awesome. The bird is a bit too low in the frame for my taste. I think removing some off the top and adding room to the bottom will really elevate this image.

Kevin, not sure what is going on with this crop, kind of awkward. Also maybe to much NR the bird looks a bit soft in areas.

Pose, prey, and perch are money, but I agree with Tim that the crop is really wonky. He looks like an afterthought jammed into the lower left corner.

I sort of dig the out of the box crop. Love the light and the green and blue. And the perfect head turn. Good plan with the perch. Perhaps you could find something with a bit more character and texture, maybe dark grey or brown ...

Bit more room at bottom will really help the image.

I like the feet and the background colors.

Prey and the head turn is nice.
