An encounter with the rarely seen adolescent harrier. This morph is half way between a juvenile and an adult, the rust and orange spots on the chest are forming while the pupil is still dark. It will eventually come bright yellow when the bird matures. The underwings will become bright grey with spots as well.

Shot with the D5 and 600E FL + TC 1.4 ISO 640 f/5.6 at 1/3200 sec hand held C1P hope you like it. I just finished my D5 review a (http://arihazeghiphotography.com/blog/nikon-d5-review/)nd this image was a part of it

Another spelndid harrier frame from you Arash! Nice wing position, eye contact and excellent image quality.
This individual is not as pretty as others you have captured but I appreciate that it is a rarely seen and captured morph.

It is subjective but to me this is the prettiest harrier :)

Would love to offer some critique...but it's not gonna happen...lol A stunning shot as usual...and I agree...it's a very "pretty" Harrier. Your photos are always an inspiration for me Arash.
