It's a gem Will, super pose bang on focus and idyllic light. I have just noticed the whispy feathers on the back at the base of the tail, I wonder if this is a feature of the moult and re feathering? I like the image as is, I am just wondering about lowering the brightness of the sky a tiny bit??
I must get myself off to Rhyader sometime soon.

Wonderful look-back flight pose. Nice light, and BG with just a hint of clouds. I also wondered if he is molting -- some new feathers seem to be appearing where primaries and tail feathers are lacking.

I think it's pretty neat to see the central tail feathers growing back. Great look-back pose. Sharp. Good colours. Nicely done!

Thanks guys, appreciated....I think it is a feature of the molting. Yes Jon, it does look better with the sky slightly darker. Thanks for that.

Always love dorsal views like this. The detail on the bird looks great. Framing is right on for me.

This is great.
I would reduce the brightness or highlights in the BG to bring out the blue a bit more and make the wispy clouds in RUC stand out a bit more.
Very nice dynamic pose.
