It only took 10 days from hatching to fledging the nest. What a fun experience to watch the whole thing develop through our living room window from nest-buliding onwards. I told my kids that watching "Nestflix" was better than Netflix Lol. We're all now feeling a bit of empty-nest syndrome though as they became part of our landscape for these short times...:S3:. All three individuals pictured here fledged a couple of hours after this image was created.

Canon 7DII + 100-400L @340mm, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/160s., f/8, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, small crop to help the comp, toned down a few brighter highlights, added a catchlight to the far individual, NR to oof areas.

Great story, it's great to be able to watch all this so closely. Such quick development.

Nice view of this nest. Like the pose on all three. Details look great. I laughed at the nestflix comment.

Nice natural view of the clutch! Guess they have to grow into those beaks. Amazing how fast the grow. If human kids were so quick, I might consider having them!
