I made this image in Lincoln Beach, Utah Lake last weekend.

This is highly cropped image. I was just looking to see how much of a crop can D850 sustain. I was amazed that even after cropping so much, I can see so much detail in the feathers.

Camera Settings:-
===============
Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
1/4000 sec; f/8; ISO 2000
Manual; Matrix metering

Post Processing:-
===============
Raw Processing using C1P
85% Cropping
Nik 25-25 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity
Neat Image NR on Background
Sharpening for Presentation
Cloned out of focus elements

Let me know your thoughts and comments.

Thanks

Good choice of crop, and I like the space you gave to the larger feather at left edge. Details do look good for what is 15% left of the original pixels, but there is nothing better (and fun) than actually getting this close!:c3:

Looks great for the very large crop. Light and pose and nice with a great background.
