Nice light and nice breeding plumage on the bird. Love the ruffed up head feathers.

I love the Reddish Egret, and the multiple bubbles all around. The mergansers don't do much for me though - perhaps if they had better HAs then I would have liked them better. Neat to see them in with the egret though, I'm sure the activity was fun to photograph:S3:.

I get the idea of the opportunistic feeding, the same happens here between cormorants, egrets and herons, but having tried, it is a really difficult combo to pull off successfully. The Egret looks manic!
