Long Jawed Orbweaver

First saw this from the lighted side, then switched the sides to capture backlighted spider. Looks like it is feeding on its prey. Looked like a mayfly to me, but it is partly gone. It was windy, so it was a hard capture.

Wow these are really tricky and you did a good job - well done! Nicely lit and focused, the prey item enhances further, I like the background with the hint of colour as opposed to pure black, I think that would have looked a little stark.

The backlighting works great here. Like the crop as well. Nice and sharp. Not easy to do in the wind as you had mentioned.
