Hand held - garden pond. The emerald damselfly is slightly larger than the blues and characteristically when at rest its wings are not folded close to the body as is the usual case with the latter.

Nice and sharp with a good exposure. The perch has some character. Background is nice.

The iridescence on the damselfly and the way the wings are spread make this image for me. Neat shadows beneath the legs too.

Agree with Daniel. The iridescence stands out. Great background. You must have very steady hands to take this sharp an image handheld.
