This bee beetle caught my eye still sitting on a heath spotted orchid.It still bears marks of that visit as the deep look into the (empty) orchid flowers has left it with some pollen packets stuck to the head. It then flew to a the shown flower only to try to get to the pollen packets with it's tongue.
Canon 30D, Tamron 90mm f/2.8 1:1 Macro, f/8, 1/125, ISO 320, slight crop.
