Hi Alfred,
didn't realize that Canon made a D300 .........either one to many 0's :D.......or it's a Nikon! ;)...........anyway.......The bud and DF are very nicely handled. The BG is good......but could go for a bit more blurring for my tastes. Very nice and sharp throughout! Very interesting colors too!

Roman I got some at f 4.0 and did not look all that good Should have tried the 5.6 setting also For these guys the bg is not all that far .... could be wrong but I think I was crawling for this one?

Alfred,
I think this dam is lovely. She's the purdiest shade of green I've seen yet. And she's sharp, and the bg is wonderfly OOF.
I know how hard these critters are to catch. I chased them all around the lake last week and only came home with a few good shots. I do however need to get me a macro.
Good job.

Alfred....wonderful detail and color on the damsel. Agree a bit more blur to the BG would help but certainly nice as presented.
