I heard a noise and looked out to see this helmeted friarbird feeding over the fence in the back yard. Pruned the foliage around the bill in PP.
420mm, 1/1000, f5.6, ISO4000.

Love the vegetation and the bird in this one. Great EXP and details. Might cut some from right side to banish cut vegetation. TFS

I like the image Greg but I think it is too bright, a slight adjustment in curves really helps the image IMHO.

Neat capture Greg, might take out some more vegetation close to the neck. Can still see some artifact of what you removed. I agree a little bright. Love the flower. TFS

Great looking bird! decrease exposure and clean up the artifacts and repost please, looking forward to seeing this reprocessed.

Neat looking bird kind of reminds me of a dinosaur. The perch is neat as well.

I love the scene here. Agree that reducing the exposure/highlights would bring out even more detail.

Attached is a repost, slight exposure adjustment and playing with the tone curve, then a bit more effort on the pruning. There were only 2 leaves I cut, note too that there is pollen on the underside of the bill. Thanks for the suggestions, I hope this version is better.

Very nice repost, the flower on the bottom looks like it was too overexposed to recover any details...TFS

Neat bird and habitat. The darker repost is better. My favorite part? The blossom below the bird -- good job of getting that all in.
