Post Processing:-

Raw Processing using C1P
2x3 Cropping from Bottom (To place bird on top right corner)
Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
Nik 25-25 at reduce opacity on the bird
Neat Image NR
Sharpening for Presentation
Dodge selectively (Lightening the bird face a touch)

Adding color at bottom left most corner to remove the whitish look.

Let me know your thoughts and comments.

Everything looks good here, except that I would have preferred the sparrow placed lower in the frame rather than higher. Colours, sharpness, BG, perch all top-notch.

Thank you for the comments Dan.

Any specific reason for your preference to have sparrow lower in the frame ?

Looking good....Nice detail and HA. I like the colours in the BG. I don't mind the position of the bird, it gives the bird a wee bit more to 'look into'.. But I would take a little from the bottom, to balance the frame.

I just usually prefer more room above rather than below. Personal preference really.
