Sunrise at Ft Desoto. Cropped some off the top to follow the rule of thirds.

And here is the image.

I would consider cutting some of the sky at the top. When the sky is fairly bland, you can focus the attention to the foreground and middle-ground elements with a pano crop.
I do love the colors that silhouette the skyline bridge.

One of my favorites sunrise spots :) I like the strong silhouette of the bridge and how clearly you can see the structure and cables. While the color is great, The sky is a little plain for me too, I think going pano, or shooting with more foreground and less sky would have made for a little stronger image. Looks like it was a pretty low tide that morning, and sometimes you can find interesting lines through the freshly exposed flats and sandbars to lead your eye to the bridge. Depending on the time of year, if you hit the right spot along the beach there you can get the sun rising between the two spans of the bridge, which is a pretty cool sight.

Good ideas, Jason. Next time, I'll try for the sun between the uprights and consider sky vs foreground.

Great colors in the sky, my first thought was "Pano" image as well.:)
