The Killdeer looks good, but my favorite part is the vegetation. Rather worn on the plumage, the effects of the ongoing breeding season are apparent!

Details on the whites are outstanding,I love the natural vegetation showing the bird in its element. Too bad the out of focus vegetation on the legs. Sometimes we just have to accept. TFS

The vegatation is nice. The low angle is right on. Bird look pretty worn in the feather department but thats life for ya. I always love it when you get a close encounter.

Excellent point of view and environmental setting. The detail is superb.

Looks nice and sharp with the 2X! Detail is great and the exposure is spot on. I'm lukewarm on the foliage as it obscures the legs are creates some OOF issues in the foreground. I would loosen the crop a touch. He is pretty tight, particularly behind.
