I took several shots some with flash some without, this one was without. It was very cloudy and the flash was tending to reflect a little too much off the body.

Jon, what a beautiful image! I can't believe how nice the DOF is...I can even see all the little hairs surrounding the bug's head and body. What was your aperture setting for this?

Only comment I have is that I wouldn't mind seeing just a little bit more room at the top so the plant doesn't feel crowded; otherwise, beautiful capture!

I think the w/o flash image works great as it looks like you had nice soft light.

Agree with Julie on more room on top.

One fantastic image Jon Love the fine detail and density !!!

I usually prefer soft light or a diffuser to having to use the flash !!! This work out just perfect !!! Big Congrats !!!

Jon...wonderful image with great detail. I agree with giving the plant a touch more room. But it certainly is a great image.

Simply fantastic. I like the composition and exposure. Your dragonfly is tack sharp and gotta love that neon metalic blue...:D
