Hi John, sorry this image lacks interest for me, setting, water with weeds, and messy spit of land. The pose on the coot keeps the head and neck in shadow and i miss seeing the details there... I'll look forward to another coot of yours as there are many coot available for coot portraits! TFS

I would take some off at the bottom. Crop it such that water below the logs is removed from the frame.

I wish for cleaner area near the feet as I love the feet of coot.

I have to agree with Ann. I never shoot a black bird on/near water on a cloudy day. It just produces a dull, flat image.
The little weeds in the water are not pretty and I would clone them all out.
