HH, Olympus OMD EM1X 300mm f4Pro (600mm equivalent) Just about minimum focus.
Auto ISO 400, -0.3, 1/640 sec f8

This image was just for curiosity as opposed to a properly taken macro image. I have just sold my Canon gear and gone to Olympus, so still accustoming myself to the controls, and seeing what was possible with the new technology. I was actually photographing birds and saw this couple of green veined whites paired up.
All comments welcome.

Looks fine for a standard documentary shot. Like all the greens. Kinda looks like the cabbage white over here. Well the eyes do anyway. Have fun with the new gear.

Hi Jon, well you know my thoughts, but wish you all the best.

Nice first outing and I like the framing, subject has good detail too. Overall I find it a bit too 'Walt Disney' :bg3:in terms of saturation and again detail is being masked through the Contrast/Blacks IMHO.

I just pegged the WB back a bit, WDYT, but take it into PS.

Cheers
Steve

Looks a bit thin to me Steve, btw still a lot to learn, I had unwittingly disabled IS so I can get better results than this for 600mm hand held.

Nice image, I prefer the original.
