Captured at Bunche Beach several weeks ago, just before sunset.

Juicy-looking and plump tidbit. Good profile view of the feeding behaviour. Nice light. I also like the first signs of breeding feathers just appearing on the neck and flanks.

Looking good....I think you got the exposure spot on here. Nice POV and detail on the bird. How's the shoulder Bill...Today was the first of me getting out and using the lens handheld since I had surgery. Taking it easy to start with. Feels like the surgery worked ok. No pain anyway.

Thanks Will. Glad you're back out there in the field. Definitely take it easy at first. I was so eager to get back out that I think I initially overdid my strength training in the gym, so I've still got some soreness after handholding the lens for an extended period. Not serious, though, and it's nice to be out again.

Nice one Bill . Light is what makes this and the worm adds too. Great capture.

Nice light. Like the prey and the pose. Low angle is nice as well.

Nicely captured, Bill with that beautiful late afternoon light. Morsel adds perfectly. Well done.
