One of the common Laughingthrush species found in Himalayas..
Shot from a bird feeder where many birds come on a regular basis for food and water.
This particular individual grabbed my attention due to his attitude..

I like the pose and the plumage details are excellent, the colours look beautiful. The soft tail is not a problem for me, the head, neck and chest hold my interest.

Neat looking bird. The perch is nice. The bird looks concentrated on something below it. The details look nice.

I like the bird, the perch, the BKGR, and the attitude :). Opening up the mid-tones might improve it a bit.

I love that pose too! Nice dark mood to the image. I'd consider a touch more contrast, and perhaps lightening up the eye to our right to match the other. Maybe a bit of NR to the BG as well. Other than that, I quite like this!

The details are lovely, particularly the whites on the throat, but I struggle with the lack of eye contact. He's looking just far enough down to seem disinterested (i.e. no catchlights). The background and general mellow mood are very nice.
