I made this image yesterday at Red Butte Garden UT.

This image was taken indoors with sunlight falling through glass

Nikon D850, Sigma 150 f/2.8 Macro + Kenko Extension Tubes (12 mm + 20 mm)
1/4 sec; f/16; ISO 1000
Manual; Matrix metering

I think It would have been nice if I had shot this image using Focus stacking methods to get better depth of Field.

I had another shot at f/22 but it was not parallel and not sharp and hence I choose this once over it.

I liked the color combination and hence took this image.

If any know about the species of the plan, do let me know. I wish to know the same.

Post processing:-

Cropped 80%
Nik Filters
Neat Image
Raw Processing Using C1P
Extra Sharpening on the middle part of the flowers

Let me know your thoughts and comments. Let me know how I could have improved this image.

Thanks
Krishna

I like the idea and the composition. I think the filaments and anthers are the main subject and unfortunately as you point out they are not sufficiently in focus for me. certainly worth another try if you have the opportunity. I really like the colours and processing.

Love how the petals look so shiny. The composition is spot on.
