I made this image at Bear River Migratory Refuge couple of weeks back at Sunset (Sun was setting behind the mountains).


Nikon D500 , 600 f/4 +1.4x TCIII
1/3200 sec; f/5.6; ISO 800
Manual; Matrix metering

Post Processing:-
This was shot vertically
4x5 Crop
Cleaned up high lights in Bill and mud splash on the bird.
Neat Image NR
Nikon 30-30 Filter

Hi Krishna,
Lovely light on the swan.
I do not like the composition of this image.I think there is too much negative space on top - I would go for a landscape orientation for this.
I miss seeing the eye of the swan. Image would be stronger if the head was tilted the other way.

If I cannot get lower to waterfowl that are not flying, I would find another subject.

You had some nice light. The frame might be stronger as a vertical.

This Frame was shot vertically. I could not shoot this horizontally as I had some vegetation which is coming into the frame and blocking the scene.
