Breed in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho, on the boundary of Giants Castle in the Drakensberg. Eat predominantly bones. which they swallow whole pieces up to the size of a ladies fist. Two to three bones and they fly off, only to return in 2 - 3 days. Bigger bones are dropped from great heights onto stones to shatter them.So one is extremely lucky to get them coming down to feed, and is a prize photo to get. The people after us were there for 2 days and never saw them.

Excellent pose, details, setting and BG. I find the shadow of the beak on the bird's chest a bit distracting.

Hi Loukie,
I can live with the shadows as the wing position/detail/ & BG are great!

Those wings are killer!!!

Did you run some Shadow/Highlight to soften the shadow?
