Looks like you have nice variety of waterfowl there. Like the flight pose and the composition.

You certainly have a nice BG for these...
Fine flight shot, the angle is very nice.
Maybe a tad too much purple in the cheek?

Thanks Ann, John and Dan for your kind comments. Dan the cheek was this purple. It's amazing how much the head can change from black to purple or green depending on light intensity and angle.

Very nice image.
I like the wing position and the incoming angle.
I think it could use a boost in contrast and or levels ( the head is sharp but a bit "hazy" if that makes sense.)
I would be very pleased to have this in my files.
It looks like you have a great spot and are making the most of it.

What a superb flight shot!
The wing position is great, the light is good and the water looks just perfect! Not a single distracting wave is actually quite amazing.
I agree that the bird seems a bit soft and might need a boost.

Superb wing position and details, but I agree with Gail on adding a bit of contrast and perhaps a slight more sharpness to the head.

Sweet light and pose and underwing detail. I would darken the head just a bit.

with love, arite

Looks great Jim!! The only suggestion would be to lasso only the head and add some more sharpening, maybe .3 diameter @70%, otherwise looks really nice.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and suggestions. I did a new version with the head sharpened a little more and darkened a little as well. I do like it better than the OP, thanks again.
