A flock of these little birds were darting about in the receding tide looking for shellfish. They move very quickly so was glad to be able to get one in focus and on the run.

Great running pose with the feet up and my favourite low shooting angle. The IQ isn't quite there for some reason, is this a large crop?

I like the running pose and the drops flying off the foot. I agree there is a tiny bit of subject movement - for shorebirds I rarely go below ISO 800, even in good light...all for more shutter speed. As posted the image also seems to need a bit of CW rotation. These guys are fun eh!
