Right as this area received the morning light this beauty decided to stretch wings showing all that newly minted mating plumage. I have over thirty frames while wings were out in different positions. The tight crop is once again to avoid cutting other birds but this photo-bomber just wouldn't cooperate.I have imaged wood storks during nesting once before (alligator farm) but it was late in the cycle with fledgling chicks and the plumage was already showing wear. It does appear the interloper is trying to compete making it somewhat comical. Here's hoping for another chance soon.
