I was so stoked to hear of the super colony of breeding waders in the everglades later last year. This included many of these wood storks which are coming back from the brink. This past week went back to Wako after my holiday hiatus from birding (grand kids only thing that would keep me away) and found an explosion of Woodies. Literally made my heart sing. Maybe we can still leave a decent legacy...
