I captured this image at Ft. Desoto County Park in Pinellas County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic CC, Photoshop CC 2019 and Neat Image for noise reduction... cleaned up circular specular highlights in the white surf

Very nice. Like the composition here and the pose on the bird. The color of the water is nice. Insane how close these guys will let you get at this location.

Maybe a touch dark overall here for me, but I like the profile pose and beach feel with a nice BG.

I have only seen this bird once in Texas..

Beautiful bird, but the image looks flat as it is. Needs more light for sure. Image would have benefited from lower angle and being a bit to the right. Do you physically need the monopod? If no, I would ditch it - for sure.
It is difficult to maneuver and prevents getting the lens close to the sand compared to handholding. You had plenty of light, so stability isn't an issue.
