Super look at those feet/talons! Exposure is spot on as well. Would be nice to have a bit more DOF across the wings, but you didn't have a lot of light to work with. He's a bit small in the frame for me, but I tend to be very subject-forward!

This guy sure looks beaten up!
I have never been fussy about grey ripply water surfaces as a background.
This does show the talons well.
