Auto ISO 400 +0.66, 1/1000 sec f8

ACR + PSCC

I was all set for some interesting shots of this gull which I noticed was wresting with the mussel and seaweed.......then along came a dog walker and her spaniels who thought they would come and say hello. I notice my shutter speed had also been altered during the intrusion, it was previously on 1/2000 sec.

Nice behavioral frame. Would have been better at 1/2000, but I understand the intrusion. Whites also look a tad hot on my monitor.

Like the prey and the pose on the bird. Foreground gives a nice anchor for the whole frame.

Hi Jon, interesting image, love the behavior. Maybe 1/2000 would have frozen the motion of the moving leg. Exposure and the whites and grays look good. Thank you for sharing.
