I went to Circle B Bar Reserve yesterday morning where I came across this Eastern Phoebe. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic CC, Photoshop CC 2019 and Neat Image for noise reduction
Cropped from horizontal to vertical for composition and presentation

Nice EXP, HA, and BKGR (but for the light area). An option would be to have pointed the lens down as the bottom half of the image is not adding much ...

Hi Artie, thank you for viewing and commenting. I wondered about the bright area of the background, decided to post with it to see what was said. Here is a edit and repost with the bright area banished.

nice pose with a delicate perch and a nice background, wish the sun was behind your neck....side light a bit harsh here

This is a nice look at this species. Side lighting isn't for everyone, but you handled it fine here. Pose is great and the engaging look is really nice, but the perch doesn't add much.
