A beautiful/ugly (depending upon your preferences) scorpionfish that for once was sat in a nice position allowing a really close approach away from the sea bed, so not much backscatter to have to worry about, and well camouflaged against the corals

Tried a RP with a little more selective sharpening and the brightest whites tamed with a luminosity mask

Pretty crazy looking. All those colors and textures are neat. The flash is well balanced.

Hi Mike -- Is it possible to sight it with its eyes and mouth shut ? incredible camo .

I like the colours and the subject in particular, pretty unsual . Nice dark BKG makes the subject standout. Details are nice and fine , sharpness i would prefer something between your OP and RP. but very nicely done .

Thanks Haseeb, They are a fair sized fish, but you really need to be going slow and keeping your eyes open to find them.
