Lovely background and DOF looks good, perhaps f16 may have been just a tad better?
I would suggest removing the blues.

Interesting subjects and excellent sharpness within your DOF. Like Jon, I would wish for more DOF - enough to get the entire puffball in focus. Also, you might consider cropping a little more off the bottom as my eye is drawn to the OOF lighter colors there. :S3:
