Juvenile Peregrine Falcon

I have many photos of adult Peregrines but none of juvenile birds so when I found out about a local pair that had young I got there as soon as I could. In addition I have many photos of Peregrines on cliffs or bare branches but not in foliage. So my plan for the day was to try and capture a juvenile bird in flight or in greenery. The day I was able to get there the birds were not flying at all so I was fortunate that at the end of the day, after having spent most of the day perched way out of camera range, this bird landed close and in a perfect spot for me. The light was soft and diffuse as the sun had gone behind the trees. Cropped to vertical. From June 30 of 2018

Nice pose and great that you came away with a shot. The head does get a bit lost in the foliage IMO.

What a handsome individual. Such perfect feathers and so clean.
I like the look back pose very much.
I would take a bit more off the LHS (and get rid of cut off leaf on the edge) and some off the top.
I love the foliage but do not like the white space above the head. So cropping a bit off would help

The look, lovely Isaac, and such depth to the browns throughout the feathers... Never realized the blue eye ring, cere, and beginning of beak. Trade up the perch as I am sure you will next opportunity!

Nice one Isaac. I've never seen a picture of one in this setting before. Sweet pose and detail on the bird. I think I'd either clone or dodge the slightly darker spot in the upper left corner. No idea why but it keeps drawing my eye when I look at this. TFS
